Some of us say sorry the way other people say hello. Sorry to bother you. Sorry, it’s fine. Sorry for asking.
I spent years apologizing for things that were never wrong with me, and it took leaving a marriage that looked good on paper to see how many of those apologies I never owed.
Here’s why it matters. Every apology you don’t owe is a small agreement to be less of yourself. Say sorry for wanting more enough times, and you start wanting less. Say sorry for your feelings enough times, and you stop sharing them. That’s how a woman ends up with a life that looks fine from the outside and feels wrong on the inside.
Alignment is when your outside life stops arguing with your inside life.
Your sign won’t make your choices for you. What it can do is show you the parts of yourself you were taught to apologize for, and those are usually the parts that need the most room. When you stop apologizing for them, your yes means yes, your no means no, and the people who stay are the ones who were meant to. That’s what living in alignment looks like. I wrote more about it in What Aligned Actually Means.
Today on my stories I asked for your sign and promised every one of you an answer. Here’s the full read: what your sign is done apologizing for, and what to say instead.
Read your sun sign first, then your rising if you know it.
♈︎ Aries · March 21 to April 19
You’re done apologizing for wanting it now, not someday.
You were told to be patient so many times that you started to think wanting was the problem. It never was. Knowing what you want and moving toward it is the most honest thing about you.
Say this instead: “I’m not in a rush. I’m just clear.”
♉︎ Taurus · April 20 to May 20
You’re done apologizing for needing it to feel steady before you trust it.
Slow isn’t cold. The people who rush you are usually the ones who can’t stay, and the ones worth trusting don’t mind showing up the same way twice.
Say this instead: “I don’t need grand gestures. I need consistent ones.”
♊︎ Gemini · May 21 to June 20
You’re done apologizing for changing your mind once you knew better.
Changing your mind with new information isn’t flaky. It’s growth. The people who call it inconsistent usually liked the old version of you, because she asked for less.
Say this instead: “I thought about it more, and my answer changed.”
